Longboat Key closes their beaches and more effective today!

 

Beaches are open, but are they really? If you are closing down all beach access parking, aren’t you essentially closing the beaches? Hence my headline, closes their beaches.

 

LONGBOAT KEY COVID-19 CLOSURES.

 

All of the following will be closed effective June 30 until further notice:

 

1. All Public Beach Access parking locations

 

2. The Quick Point and Overlook Parking access

 

3. Public restrooms at Bayfront & Joan M. Durant Park
