Sarasota: Father saves his unresponsive daughter after finding her in the pool

Just after 5:30 p.m., our Officers responded to a hotel on Boulevard of the Arts after a father found his 2 year-old daughter unresponsive in a pool. The father grabbed his daughter and was able to get water out of her. She’s alert, breathing & responsive.
As a precaution and due to a risk of a “secondary drowning”, the little girl has been flown to All Children’s Hospital. The family was visiting from out of state.
