North Port commission selects Pete Emrich to lead the city as their next Mayor

Commissioner Jill Luke passed the gavel of the title of Mayor Tuesday, and we’re grateful for her dedication and passion to and for our City. Voted on by the Commission yearly, Mayor Pete Emrich is taking the reins of this ceremonial position. He previously served as Vice Mayor, which has now been passed on to Vice Mayor Barbara Langdon. We’re looking forward to all that will be accomplished in the future, and grateful for what has been accomplished so far!
