Footage shows a man without a Covid mask walking into a Catholic church before the priest ordered him to leave and the rest of the churchgoers physically removed him from the building.

When he appeared at the church on October 24th, Father Paul Brunet immediately pointed to him and said, “You are in trespass and you need to leave this church right now. Somebody get the security guards.”

The man walked onto the pulpit and declared, “I am not in trespass of the church,” before telling other church members, “Keep your hands off me.”

At this point, several masked parishioners walked up to the man and started to grab at him, eventually forcing him to the ground with around twenty people piling on.

“Can somebody call 911?” the priest yelled.

After being removed from the premises, the man was arrested by local police and charged with trespassing.

Lieutenant Chris Lawler of the Lakewood Police Department told the Daily Mail, “At the request of the church, we served the male a criminal trespass notice… the male returned to the church and created another disturbance. He chose to disregard this order when he appeared at Mass yesterday.”

It’s unclear if the man’s refusal to wear a mask played any role in his bone of contention with the church or his being trespassed.
