Sarasota Man Arrested on Charges of Capital Sexual Battery, Lewd Lascivious Molestation – Additional Victims Possible

Keith Hill, 33, of Sarasota, has been arrested and is facing multiple charges including Capital Sexual Battery with a Victim under 12 (3 counts), Possession of Child Pornography (36 counts), and Lewd Lascivious Molestation under 12 (3 counts).  Hill is being held at the Sarasota County Jail.  Based on their investigation, Sarasota Police detectives believe there may be additional victims and are asking them to call Detective Megan Buck.

 

In August 2021, Sarasota Police detectives began an investigation after sexually explicit videos of a victim, an 8-year-old girl, were found on Hill’s cell phone by his girlfriend.  Following Hill’s arrest, a search warrant was executed for the forensic exam of Hill’s cell phone.  The forensic exam found additional sexually explicit videos of another victim, a 5-year-old boy. 

 

In September 2021, while in jail, Hill made contact with family members of the victims through calls and text messages.  Hill also asked other people to contact the family members of the victims.  He is facing additional charges of Tampering with a Witness (2 counts) and Violation of a No Contact Order.  In total, Hill is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of Child Pornography (36 counts)
  • Lewd Lascivious Molestation under 12 (3 counts)
  • Lewd Lascivious Behavior (Exhibition) (2 counts)
  • Sexual Performance of a Child – Production (2 counts)
  • Capital Sexual Battery (3 counts)
  • Transmission of Child Pornography
  • Violation of a No Contact Order
