North Port narrows the new City Manager to three candidates

You’ll remember on June 23 we selected 11 semi-finalists for the City Manager position. Today we narrowed that search to three finalists. The finalist are: Alfred (Jerome) Fletcher, Caryn Gardner-Young and Matthew LeCerf.
The next steps for each of the finalists include a background check, extensive media search, DISC testing and the finalists will submit their first year game plan and a power point presentation exercise. On August 9th each candidate will meet 1-1 with Commissioners, senior staff Q&A session, tour the city, and in the evening participate in a community meet & greet with the citizens/developers. On August 10th, they will meet remaining staff at an informal breakfast and the formal interview process will begin by Commission in a public meeting. A final decision will be reached at the end of the interview process.
